Region-Avia Airline is an airline participating in the State program of restoration of regional transportation by air in Russia. The airline has regional specialization and is operating with mono-type turbo-prop aircraft. We are constantly widening our network and are planning to operate around all major Russian hubs. In case the Project is successful the Company will restore old regional routes and launch new once.

At present our fleet consists of 8 Embraer-120ER and 8 Antonov-28 aircraft.

Our mission is to revive regional aviation through restoration of traditional routes between Russian cities and removing infrastructure restrictions for economical growth of Russian regions. To expand our network we are planning to put into exploitation 35 Embraer-120 aircraft and carry about 2 million of passengers per year on distances up to 1 500 kilometers. We aim to operate regional flights from 5 major Russian hubs: Moscow, Samara, Yekaterinburg, Sochi and Novosibirsk till the year 2012.

We believe that Russia’s further social and economic development can only be achieved by restoring of regular flights between regional centres to facilitate permanent freight and passenger transport. We expect demand for these kinds of services to increase in line with the population’s rising income.
